Agatha Boyd Adams Papers, . 1938-1947

Agatha Boyd Adams was a University of North Carolina librarian. The collection includes a diary and memoranda of Adams, made on a journey in summer 1938 to Mexico, with a few pages about Havana, Cuba, and English translations by Adams of two poems in Spanish about the Spanish Civil War. In her diary, Adams included observations on inhabitants of places she visited and her own reactions to what she observed.
